Red skies in the morning........

As the saying goes, red skies at night sailors delight, red skies in morning sailors take warning. Today started with red skies, but the birds needed the warning! Three canadians and two mallard drakes came to see us, all stayed. Even though the weather wasn't the best for hunting the river, we made the most of it. At least the dog got another good workout with a couple long retrieves. Maybe this upcoming weather change will move some new ducks in, till then we'll have to keep killing geese.[img][/img]

Sounds awesome! Couple more weekends and the freezer will be filling back up....

Not a bad day at all! Nothing wrong with killing geese but I hear ya that some ducks would be good. I am hoping to get out there with you guys over the next couple weekends.
