First fishing trip of the year!

6:00am Royal Farms Coffee $.99, 6:30 Sarges tackle shop for Grass Shrimp $11.50, 7:30 first BL Lime with a fish on the line priceless! Headed down to Millington Maryland on Sunday with Frenchy to try and catch the tail end of the White Perch run. Morning was cold but as the sun came up and the beers started flowing the day shaped and got beautiful out! We fished from 7:30-12:30 and I think we ended up with 15 keepers and a heck of a bunch more for catches. This was the first time I had fished for White Perch and certainly will be hoping for the invite next year as this was a good time. I apologize to the group as pictures were an after thought as we reeled them in and whacked back a few! Thanks Frenchy for taking this rookie along.

Great day and a tasty dinner for sure! I have never been a big fish eater but I tell you these tasty vittles might have just changed that!
