Marinated Loin Chops w/Bacon

Post  mtolbert on 2011-01-16, 10:26

Rob put this together, so you may have to play with these measurements . It was fantastic!

8-10 deer loin chops
1/4 cup liquid smoke
1 cup red wine
Any type of steak seasoning (ours consisted of salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper)
8-10 strips of thick cut bacon

Let marinate for minimum of 30 minutes, but longer if you have the time. It definately has a different flavor if you let marinate for several hours. Wrap each chop with bacon and secure with a toothpick or skewer. Grill for 10 minutes per side or until bacon is crisp and chops are cooked.

Anything with bacon tastes better! I will definitely be trying this one. Looks great!
